Location: Flexible - UK Based

Truckforce, part of Goodyear Tyres, have an exciting opportunity for a Tyre Fitting Instructor. Working as part of the national technical instructor team, the location of the successful candidate is flexible across the UK. 

As a Regional Tyre Fitting Instructor, you will travel to TruckForce and customer locations across the UK to deliver classroom based and practical car, van and commercial tyre fitting qualifications to trainee technicians. You will be responsible for training technicians on how to offer a first class service to our fleet customers whilst ensuring Health and Safety and Quality are top priority. 

You will raise the skill and competence level of our Truckforce Network, allowing them to understand the fitment and management of our products and services through the delivery of City & Guilds qualifications in car, van and Commercial Tyre fitting. You will also undertake reassessments, bespoke training days and support our managers in the ongoing drive for quality across our fleet networks.

Responsibilities:

• Delivery of Tyre and Technical training through different mediums with guidance to the TruckForce Network.
• Support the Truckforce Management team in H&S related initiatives and programmes, dealer certification and on-site technician auditing.
• Support the role out of product training both new equity and dealers by using product and technical literature as provided by Goodyear.
• Support the formal training/recertification programmes in place and onsite technician behavioural audits.
• Support the formal training requirements of priority external customers.

Who are we looking for?

• An experienced tyre fitter with strong knowledge of the tyre industry, looking for the next step in their career. 
• Certified in City & Guilds/REACT or equivalent).
• Passionate about sharing knowledge and teaching others.
• Willing to travel as part of the role throughout the UK.
• Willing to learn from others. 
• Confident at communicating at all levels.
• IT Literate.
